Design and Construction Advice for Public Spaces
Public open space, streetscapes, pathways and other public infrastructure are also required to meet Australian Standards of access for people with disability. OHA assists in the design and construction of public spaces that are navigable by and accessible to all users with information and reporting.
DDA intent and Universal and Inclusive Design Principles are always considered when advising on safe transit and pedestrian access to a range of public and civic spaces. OHA takes a collaborative approach and is experienced at working with multiple stakeholders including engineers, landscape architects, planning bodies, placemaking consultants and local authorities.
